I grew up in the '70s. I remember full-service filling stations, real customer service, and what it felt like to not just be a sale to someone. TJ was the name of the man that owned the Mobile Station down the hill from my house. We would pull into his station and he would come out, address us by name and ask us if we were filling up today. While the pump was running, he would check our oil, tires, and ask how our family was doing who he also knew by name. If we weren't stopping that day he would always give us a wave as we waited at the stop sign to pull out onto North Main St. He didn't just have customers, he had relationships.
My grandparent's Peach Orchard, Moss Orchard, was no different. Everyone that came out to buy peaches, plums, or Blackberries was treated the same. We were a family-run business and to do business with the Moss's made you family as well. We appreciated what we had and those that chose to do business with us. We weren't the only orchard in the area. Back then the area was known for its peaches. You wouldn't find a single rivalry between the farmers either. They were a community, the ladies went to club and raised money for the church, the farmer across the street would come across the road when he was in his back acreage and give me all of the change he had in his pocket so I could stop and get a dairy queen on the way home.
Chaddy and I grew up in the same small Texas town, we haunted the same places, we attended the same schools, graduated the same year, knew the same people. Our values are reflections of the values we saw in the people we grew up around.
I have always had a vision to create something that was special, something that made people feel good to be a part of. Good Earth Mercantile first is a place for people. If you put folks first then everything else will follow suit. The quality of the products is going to be top-notch, the selection is going to have something for everyone, and the presentation is going to make everyone feel like the special individual that they are.
I am so lucky that my hubby Chaddy has always supported me on this journey and a few years back started committing every moment of his spare time to help me make this dream a reality. He helps me create products and do research and cooks my meals and makes sure that I eat so that I can stay focused on our customers and providing the best experience possible.
I am truly grateful every day to get to serve you, to be a part of something big, something special, something epic. Thank you!

We process orders on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. If you need an order to go out quickly for a special occasion please contact us via text and we will do our best to accommodate. We know that you are anxious to receive your order and we are super excited about getting it to you!
We do accept special requests. Because we make all of our fragranced products in-house we can produce special request products. If you have a favorite scent and do not see it listed in the product that you are wanting, please text or email us to discuss it. Depending on the complexity of the request and in-stock supplies times to produce requested items can vary.
We do accept cancellations prior to shipping. Cancelations can not be accepted after an order has shipped. (Some items may not be refunded at 100% if specialty or made to order. Terms to be agreed upon prior to purchase)
We do not accept returns. If there is an issue with your order we are happy to assist you in resolving the matter. Whether that be through a discount, refund, or replacement.
